OUR STORY
The King’s Multi-purpose Cooperative (KMPC) was organized in November 1995 through the efffort of Mr. Mario King to answer employees financial needs thru the cooperative.
KMPC started with 22 member cooperators of Nito’s Auto Supply, King’s Quality Foods, Inc., SKYGO, and Juanito King Inc. employees with an individual initial share capital of Three Thousand Pesos (P 3,000) then. The cooperative was officially registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) as a closed-type and a multi-purpose cooperative in 1996.
The cooperative started with lending operation giving financial assistance to the members, and in 2006 the cooperative managed the defunct canteen service given by the company to the employees.
The company provided KMPC an office space at NAS-B3 and was manned by one (1) administrative staff and an able support from Board of Directors and committees. On January 1, 2011 KMPC transferred to its new office at Nito’s Auto Supply (Base 5) Building.
The cooperative then provided the much-needed financial as well as the canteen support to the employees of the King’s Group of Companies.
